Water companies and factory farms are discharging sewage and pollutants into our waters, severely harming ecosystems and posing health risks to us all. But it’s not just our water. Our air, soil and the places we live are also in crisis, both here and overseas. This environmental emergency is made worse by ineffective government oversight and enforcement, which has let destructive practices take root and companies disregard their impacts on our environment and people in their quest for profit.

We're campaigning for new laws to ensure that our environment and communities can flourish, both here and overseas. One to help everyone exercise their right to a healthy environment, and another that holds UK companies to account for environmental harm and human rights abuses in their supply chains. Our efforts will focus on raising awareness of these issues, their causes, how they affect people and nature, and how they can be fixed by strong new laws.
