The Sleeping Beauty is an essential part of the repertoire as it is often one of people's first ballets and enjoyed by millions of people. Sir Peter Wright's beautiful production of The Sleeping Beauty is 35 years old and to re-present it, much of its costumes, set and props are in need of repair.

Our technical teams have done a full assessment of The Sleeping Beauty. Many costumes can be refurbished, but many will need to be remade, including the tutus, which are essential for creating the magic of the production. Restoration of the set and props will also need to take place. We are committed to providing opportunities to be part of the Company, and there will be an opportunity for children to be part of this project and dance on stage.
