100% of the homeless adults that we accommodate have experienced trauma, which in many cases has affected their self esteem, mental wellbeing and confidence. Alive and Singing Choir is designed to be an environment that is welcoming, fun, non judgmental - it brings together members of our community, both those we support and those that supports them to share in a common goal.

Alive and Singing Choir is not really about the singing. It's about coming together in a safe space to have fun, develop social skills, increase wellbeing and share an experience together. The singing is the added bonus! 98% of the individuals that attend choir told us that they feel more confident after attending choir, and that it is the thing they look forward to the most in their week. After 5 years in existence, Alive and Singing is still our most popular and well attended activity.
