Westminster offers many opportunities & benefits to its residents, however many residents do not feel comfortable to or cannot financially access these. According to the Council, ‘around a quarter of households in Westminster, more than 31,000, face a serious reduction in living standards due to rising costs’ (Westminster City Council, 2022). 2 in 5 people in Westminster are living in poverty, & 25% of children. (2019/2020 - Trust for London). SouthWestFest works to close this gap & offer access

Increasing costs have really impacted us as a small charity and with your support we can continue to develop existing & new ways to support our community through our free events by providing joy, opportunity, inspiration and connection to the community and local services. We have been delivering this for 20 years, and have a special position in the local calendar and networks. We pop-up each year & are responsive to our community's changing needs and wants.
