This campaign has now closed
In the last year, thousands of people - many of them children - have been admitted to hospital suffering with malnutrition and vitamin deficiency diseases such as rickets. With your help, we can get fresh, nutritious food to children, young people, and their families who are most at risk.

Situation
Four million children in the UK live in food poverty. Half a million children in London face food insecurity every day. Rates of malnutrition have doubled in the UK over the last decade. Meanwhile, over 3 million tonnes of good food is wasted every year in the UK from farms, manufacturing, and hospitality services. This food is safe, nutritious, and often of a much better quality than those affected by food poverty are able to afford.
Solution
The Felix Project rescues thousands of tonnes of surplus food by working in partnership with over 500 suppliers such as wholesalers, supermarkets, farms, shops, restaurants, and hotels. Our Depot Teams, assisted by an army of volunteers, sort and redistribute it for free to nearly 1,000 frontline community organisations and schools, 75% of which serve children, young people, and their families.
