Just 10 plastic products make up almost 80% of ocean pollution, with single-use bags, plastic bottles, food containers and food wrappers topping the list. Plastic pollution is very much also a climate issue. If the entire lifecycle of plastic were a country, it would be the fifth-largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world. With plastic production set to double by 2030, and only 9% having ever been recycled, it's clear progress so far is just a drop in the ocean. We need to act now.
