Over the past decade trust in our elected leaders has hit an all-time low. The major focus of government has been hijacked, government spending diverted, procurement became preferential for VIPs, lawmakers turned lobbyists for hire; the Commons purged, the Lords packed, honours sold, the civil service cowed, standards watchdogs ignored and their rulings evaded. Now public protest is being restricted. People who simply want better for their society and the planet, have been left powerless.

Working across political divides, we aim to stop corruption and abuse of power and to clean up UK politics through: - Investigations to expose corruption, using our research and evidence to inform inquiries and select committees, and to develop solutions. - Engaging political leaders in Westminster and Holyrood to secure commitment to lasting change. - Empowering journalists, civil society and communities beyond Westminster to hold power to account. - Improving local government accountability.
