Everything we do as a charity aims to make life better for children who need a social worker. Frontline develops the practice, leadership and innovation skills of social workers, so they can change lives. Help us build safer futures for over 45,000 vulnerable children and their families every year.
Social workers supported over 700,000 children in England last year. These vulnerable children may have faced issues such as abuse, violence, poverty or neglect. Great social work can keep them safe from harm and help them reach their full potential. Unfortunately, social worker shortages and rising numbers of children in care put incredible pressure on the system. Social workers often lack the support they need to provide a great service to families. That’s where Frontline comes in.
We believe no child’s life chances should be determined by their social or family circumstances. We help social workers be their best for children and families, equipping new social workers with the skills they will need and helping existing social workers grow as leaders and explore innovative ways to improve the lives of children. And we support our community of social workers throughout their careers, because together they have the power to bring about wider social change for children.
