Learning from Anne Frank and the Holocaust, we empower young people aged 9 to 15 to challenge all forms of prejudice and to give them the skills, empathy and confidence to safely and effectively take a stand against discrimination and hate in their schools and communities.

Our young people face daily barriers of prejudice and discrimination, exposing them to hate-crime, poor mental health, bullying and physical assault. Pupils from minority groups are more likely to feel unsafe in school than their peers, with 1 in 10 missing school because of this (Pupil Safeguarding Review, 2022) – negatively impacting pupils’ engagement with learning and educational outcomes. Over a quarter (27%) of young people have reported directly experiencing racism (Hope Not Hate, 2022).

In schools with 9 - 15 year olds, we teach the story of Anne Frank’s life, antisemitism & the Holocaust & then about ALL forms of prejudice. Our learner-led programmes help young people understand the roots & consequences of prejudice & discrimination. Then, through taking on a peer educator role, young people deepen their learning & knowledge and can confidently share it with their peers in language that they understand & in ways that resonate with other young people.
