ECPAT UK is the leading children’s rights charity working with young victims of trafficking and those at risk. Most children we support directly are unaccompanied children who faced exploitation, atrocities, abuse, fled conflict, and endured perilous journeys. The UK government is significantly changing the law allowing differential treatment for unaccompanied children contravening child welfare law and international obligations. This makes unaccompanied children more vulnerable to exploitation.

Our rights based, child centred, and trauma informed integrated model supports young victims of trafficking directly via youth programme, research, advocacy, campaigns, and training. We provide 1:1 mentoring, counselling and peer support groups. We promote change by placing children’s participation at the centre. Our campaign #CareForEveryChild, calls for care and protection for all children. Through this we are challenging unlawful practice, retrograde reform and asserting children's rights.
