In response to the devastating war in Ukraine and as part of our long-term support for children and families struggling with severe poverty, Mission Without Borders is seeking funds to provide agricultural and construction equipment to enable families to become economically self-sufficient.

Situation
The war in Ukraine has devastated an already struggling economy. Inflation on basic essentials is over 30% and the number of Ukrainians in poverty has increased by 7.1 million in 2022 . Many families in rural communities face extreme hardship and without opportunities for employment are unable to feed and clothe their children.
Solution
We have built relationships with families living in poverty in key communities and identified necessary support for them to become economically self-sufficient. Having assessed the needs, skills and experience of 5 families in rural Ukraine we have determined they require specific equipment including 2 mini-tractors, a cultivator, a chainsaw, jackhammer and duster. With this equipment each of the families will be able to use their training and skills to create income by farming or construction.
