This campaign has now closed

West London Zone exists to close the opportunity gap for children and young people in West London. We have recently expanded our work in Brent and the funds raised from this campaign will go towards supporting children across four schools in Brent in the last two terms of their programmes.

    Situation

In West London, there are 1 in 5 children and young people who aren’t getting the support they need to thrive into adulthood. This is because the support that is available is fragmented and often doesn't address the multiple, interrelated needs of children. The children and young people who miss out on this support are at greater risk of negative outcomes later in life including school exclusion and poor mental health.

    Solution

Delivering over 55 school programmes in West London, we support children and young people to develop the social, emotional, and academic skills that they need to thrive. Each programme is led by a Link Worker, who is based in a local school to support 40 children. The Link worker joins up each child’s support system, including families, schools and local organisations, to deliver a personalised two-year support plan for each child.
