Our service users often have complex disabilities, which can result in feelings of isolation, lack of confidence and social anxiety. Some rely on family and carers to support them with day-to-day activities and in extreme circumstances, are unable to leave their house unaccompanied. We have over 100 individuals on our waiting list who are in need of a canine partner.

We provide our dogs free of charge to our service users. Our expert trainers teach the dogs the specialist skills they will need, tailoring training to ensure the needs of their partner are met. As a result of receiving a canine partner, individuals have become more independent and less reliant on family and friends for day-to-day support as they know their dog has the ability to help them when needed. Some have also started/returned to education, employment or volunteering.
