Unsustainable small-scale farming methods drive 68% of deforestation worldwide. This is driven by a lack of alternatives and a need to eke out a living to survive: farmers cut down trees to create space for crops and livestock, stripping the land of its fertility, habitat and profitability and locking them into a poverty trap. This process releases CO2 into the atmosphere, builds-up greenhouse gasses and pushes us closer to climate collapse.It is driving biodiversity loss of precious rainforest.

Our innovative and proven solution begins at the grassroots. We provide farmers with the knowledge, skills and resources to implement holistic & sustainable agroforestry systems on their lands. We combine agriculture and forestry (tree planting) methods to enable reliable livelihoods for the smallholders and combat climate change. Planting native trees restores biodiversity and forest cover to the rainforest, and cash crops secure short-term income for smallholders, pulling them out of poverty.
