The Cardiac Rehab Centre provides rehabilitation for patients after a heart attack, primary prevention of heart disease, falls prevention, pulmonary rehab and a newly launched Cancer Rehab service. Much of our exercise equipment is old with failing functionality and was badly affected by the constant cleaning during the COVID pandemic. We need up to date exercise equipment to match a newly refurbished building to give the best service for exercisers on our programmes.

We are launching a Fit for the Future appeal to our community, supporters and exercisers to building a fund to enable us to replace the exercise equipment with modern replacements that can integrate with wearable technology and encourage people to get the most from our programmes. So far we have identified 3 treadmills, 2 exercise bikes and one recumbent bike needing replacement but we also want to upgrade our resistance (weights) machines for core strength for cancer rehab and falls prevention
