We believe strongly that no young person should be excluded from developing their musical talents due to financial circumstance. Since the Covid-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, we have seen the number of families applying for bursary support double and now nearly a third of our members receive bursary support. We are working hard to keep the orchestral programme accessible to all.

By raising funds to support our Bursary Scheme not only will we be unlocking this unique and life-changing opportunity for talented young musicians, it will also benefit the orchestra as a whole by freeing up other funds to cover costs of the annual programme and keeping members fees as low as possible.
