We want to support more women into safe transitional housing -with support - by opening 2 new properties in a new location this Christmas. Will you help us?

Situation
Housing is a both a key reason many women enter into the sex industry & a major barrier to leaving. This has worsened with the cost-of-living crisis leaving many women with no choice but to resort to ‘survival sex’ to avoid homelessness; selling sex for the first time or being unable to leave. Without safe, long-term housing these women cannot access the support needed to rebuild their lives. Orchards provides this much needed, transitional housing.
Solution
To meet the demand, we are opening 2 new properties over the next year in a new location, providing homes for 5 women, along with intensive support, to enable the best chance of sustained exit from sexual exploitation. This comprises: • 9-12 months’ stay in a well-furnished 1-bedroom flat in a confidential location. • Support Work: Weekly individual sessions with a Support Worker based on a personalised plan. • Trauma Counselling: Weekly sessions with BACP-approved, trauma specialist therapists
