CSSF will build on 20+ years of award-winning creative education, providing thrilling and ambitious opportunities for children to engage in the arts. By taking part, children have the chance to walk a bit taller, dream a bit bigger, and develop the confidence and essential skills they need to succeed in life.

Across the UK, young people are not provided with opportunities to develop the vital skills they need for the future. The cost-of-living crisis and a national decrease in young people’s reported levels of wellbeing has resulted in a widening attainment gap between those from better off families and their less advantaged peers. CSSF’s work to create better chances for young people by developing their confidence, aspiration and commitment to learning has never been more important.

“I stepped out of my comfort zone. It made me feel I can do more.” CSSF shows children that success is for everyone. Our Festival (teacher CPD, student workshops, curriculum resources, live performances) boosts children’s confidence, engagement and ambition. They build essential skills for life; oracy, resilience and collaboration. By reimagining Shakespeare’s stories, children harness creativity’s power to overturn perceptions, unlock children’s potential and provide Life-changing experiences.
