World-leading music tuition is expensive. Fees for undergraduate courses start at £9,250 for a UK student and £27,300 for an international student. With the ever-increasing costs of living in London, coupled with instrument maintenance and intensive private practice, many students are unable to supplement their income, and will find the financial commitment extremely challenging. A lack of financial support now will drastically affect the cultural impact music has on our society for the future.

Providing scholarships enables us to relieve talented students of financial burdens' implications, allowing them to focus on their studies and make the most of all that the RCM has to offer. In turn, we produce world-class musicians who make a significant contribution to the global musical landscape. Over 50% of our students currently receive some form of financial support, and thus, the freedom to excel in their studies and prepare for their career, inspiring others with their music-making.
