All eleven schools are in impoverished communities across the Copperbelt of Zambia, & severely under-resourced with limited teaching materials. There are few textbooks or visual resources and no desks or chairs. Lack of basic essentials are hampering children’s learning. By building capacity in these schools, we will help to improve the learning & educational outcomes for very vulnerable children who have little access to education and limited future prospects because of extreme poverty

    • Provide educational materials, and essential equipment • Provide financial training & safeguarding training • Encourage parent/carer engagement in children’s schooling. • Provide additional support to teachers • Provide a Peer Health Education programme with emphasis on sexual reproductive health information • Set up saving and loan groups enabling parents/carers to improve their livelihoods. • Work with Head Teachers, PTAs, Education Boards & other stakeholders to influence policy
