The Music Festival captivates audiences with exceptional and inclusive performances of classical music. It motivates young individuals through Music For Schools initiatives throughout the year, and creates distinctive and valuable opportunities for emerging musicians to develop their talents.

Numerous segments of society lack sufficient opportunities to actively participate in culture. The enriching experience of live music and its well-documented positive effects on health and well-being should be delivered in meaningful and accessible ways to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Unfortunately, this is frequently not the case, as both the availability of such opportunities and the level of accessibility, both physically and psychologically, fall short of what is needed.

The Music Festival creates avenues for positive involvement, discovery, and growth. Our offerings encompass year-round music programmes in schools and two annual concerts. A relaxed concert specifically designed for special schools was introduced in 2022 to provide equal opportunities for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Alongside our traditional concert hall events, we also have an informal 'Around Town' programme to bring culture to harder-to-reach communities.
