LWA, a charity supporting victims of abuse and/or sexual violence, is fundraising to provide Christmas Starter Packages to anyone affected during a time when abuse is at it's highest, in order to alleviate and support those in/coming out of an abusive situation.

The rates of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence increases around the festive period, due to cost of living crisis, the expenses of Christmas and the stressors/pressures impacting victims and their abusers. This campaign will allow LWA to raise funds and provide essential items/gifts to those in/escaping a traumatic situation along with their dependents to alleviate stress and give them a more joyful Christmas.
Solution
LWA will provide 'Merry & Bright Boxes' to those in the most difficult situations or those struggling the most allowing them to make a fresh start or the best of their current situation. Providing essential items such as housewares, furnishings, presents, food to reduce the pressure of having to find a way to provide when they are unable to, and contributing to a happier, healthier environment for everyone affected.
