Sexual assault is one of the most devastating violations that anyone can experience. The trauma it causes can result in feelings of guilt, depression and even suicidal thoughts, yet accessing support is becoming increasingly difficult. Our therapy sessions provide an open and honest space to talk through feelings in a way that isn’t always possible with a loved one. Yet we have seen a 117% increase in referrals to our services since Covid meaning that additional resources are desperately needed.

By offering additional therapy sessions both in person and online, we can continue to support survivors on their journey to healing from trauma. Whilst we had to make the difficult decision to close our waiting list to new clients in 2022, the average wait for those already on the list is approximately 30 months. With your support, this funding will help us ensure this time is significantly reduced and that survivors receive support as quickly as possible.
