Many young people in the UK are struggling at the moment. The combined effect of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis on young people’s school engagement, confidence and mental health is alarming. On many measures, the attainment gap between disadvantaged and others is at its highest for over a decade. Demand for our service is increasing as schools seek more holistic interventions that addresses young people's fundamental social and emotional learning needs.

We partner with schools in under-resourced areas to support students aged 9-18. Schools refer pupils who are disengaged or underachieving due to low confidence, low self-esteem,low academic attainment, being in need of an additional role model or at risk of exclusion. We provide weekly,one-to-one mentoring by trained adult volunteers, combined with engaging group sports and creative activities, which help develop young people's character, confidence, mental health and academic ability.
