    Situation

The cost of living crisis, high energy bills, rising interest rates and stubbornly high food inflation is creating rising food poverty across the Midlands. FareShare Midlands ensures that tens of thousands of struggling and vulnerable people across the region do not go hungry. With many facing a bleak Christmas, struggling to pay the bills and make ends meet, individuals and families across the Midlands will at least have access to healthy, nutritious food, thanks to your support.

    Solution

We repurpose good quality surplus food through a network of over 500 community partners to feed tens of thousands of people, including children living in poverty, the elderly and disabled, vulnerable groups and those who have only recently found themselves struggling with food costs. By raising £50,000 we will be able to meet rising demand by once more sourcing enough food for 200,000 meals, at a time when food plays such a central role in the joy of Christmas.
