We support children, young people and families affected by all forms of exploitation, largely sexual and criminal exploitation, but including arranged marriage, trafficking, gangs and county lines. Our aim is to support at the earliest opportunity with prevention and early intervention programmes.

Situation
Exploitation can affect any child, of any age and from any background. Although any child can be at risk there are additional factors which can increase the likelihood of being targeted. From our own work we know that 28% of our supported children had SEND and/or a disability & a further 10% are awaiting assessment and 33% did not identify as White British. We have seen a stark increase in demand for our services and supported 346 children and young people in 2022/23 and 40 families.
