Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm is dedicated to brightening children’s lives by providing unforgettable stays with valuable learning experiences and much needed respite, for young people from backgrounds of challenge and disadvantage. Access to quality outdoor spaces can help reduce inequalities among children in deprived areas. It provides them with equal opportunities for play, recreation, and socialisation.
Solution
The work we do helps to ensure that all children have access to safe and well-maintained outdoor spaces. The activities we provide at Lineham Farm, has a positive effect on young people’s behaviour, confidence, and engagement, leading to happier, brighter, and more settled children’s lives. Outcomes include improved mental health, creativity, increased self-confidence, and resilience.
