The ability to offer life-changing education to young people who will make the most of their opportunities and employ their talents to the benefit of others has never been more important. However many gifted youngsters today are unable to realise their full potential because of financial barriers, especially those living in the relatively deprived areas of cities in the north and midlands. As a consequence, their capabilities are never fully developed, and the benefit to society is lost.

The Sedbergh School Roger Lupton Scholarship scheme gives young talented individuals the opportunity to develop to their full potential, by providing fully funded and partial funded Scholarships through the generosity of donations. Additional pastoral support is provided to the individual and family as required throughout the scholarship period. After leaving School the pupils benefit from the support of the extended Sedbergh School community for social and career networking.
