With gynaecology waiting times at an all time high, thousands of women and girls across the UK are struggling with endometriosis. Endometriosis UK provides vital information and services to the 1 in 10 with the disease, but we need to act now and grow our services to ensure no one is left behind.

Situation
10% of women have endometriosis - over 1.5 million - yet it takes an average of 8 years to get a diagnosis. There is no cure. Gynaecology waiting times across the UK have soared by 60%, the biggest increase of any service. This leaves those with endometriosis suffering in silence, unable to access the care and treatment they need. Many are left unsupported with chronic pain and debilitating symptoms. The negative impact of this on their daily life, physical and mental health can be enormous.
Solution
No one should have to go through their endometriosis journey alone. We provide vital support for the 1 in 10, through our Helpline, Webchat, local support groups, and online services. Last year, we supported over 50,000 people needing our help, but with 1.5 Million in the UK with endometriosis, we need to increase support, raise awareness, end the silence and stigma. We have an amazing team of over 200 trained volunteers, with lived experience - we need even more volunteers to grow our impact.
