We’re raising funds to run our national network of over 75 community meal projects, serving up free hot, 3-course meals for anyone who needs them and a chance to meet and eat with others, invaluable for those at risk of loneliness.
With the cost-of-living crisis enduring and food costs remaining high, the winter is a difficult time for many struggling to make ends meet. Additionally, for those at risk of loneliness, Christmas can be a particularly isolating time.
FoodCycle provides an invaluable service, serving up a hot, 3-course meal free of charge for anyone who needs it, plus extra portions to take away along with a bag of surplus food essentials to help see guest through the week. FoodCycle Projects not only provide a healthy meal, they also create a warm, welcoming place to eat with others, helping overcome loneliness and build strong, resilient communities. Our meals run every week at over 75 community kitchens up and down the country.
