Over the last two years, difficulities faced by families have become far more complex as a result of the increase in costs of living and decreases in benefit support. Demand for our support has been 40% higher than pre-pandemic. We support families in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Hertfordshire, including three of the top five most deprived wards. Financial challenges lead to devastating hidden costs on the emotional, social and physical wellbeing of both parents and children.

We tackle the hidden impacts of the cost of living crisis on families through a combination of: -Home-visiting support from trained staff and volunteers -Accessible counselling sessions -Family Group support -Peer to peer support Our unique, holistic approach enables famiies to identify and tackle their most pressing needs with our combination of practical and emotional support, nurturing their strengths and emotional wellbeing and helping them to develop long-term coping strategies.
