All of the families are struggling financially with the expense of drugs for their child- coupled with the fact that with very few nurses in the hospital, parents are the main caretakers and have to provide food and care - sleeping on the floor next to their child- meaning that they cannot work.

    With limited or no income and the need to pay for essential cancer-fighting drugs, families are struggling. Often the solution is simply to decrease the dosage in the hope that something is better than nothing - however, this obviously is not a real answer to the problem

    The charity will work with the doctors and families to identify those most in need and use the donations directly to pay for essential life-saving medicines
