Almost half of people leaving prison will be back within a year. Having a job and settled accommodation increases people’s chance of success, yet only 20% of prison leavers are employed within six months of release. Too often, people who want to make a fresh start after prison are held back by not having the confidence, skills or support to make it a reality. Without the right support, prison leavers can’t move forward with their lives on release and make positive choices.

Our innovative programmes inside prison helps develop the resilience and confidence needed to build a brighter future, and we offer 1:1 support after prison for as long as needed. Our participants are three times more likely to be in employment a year after release and, with our support to make positive choices, twice as likely to stay out of prison.
