Help someone in need get support from a community that understands them this Christmas. Your gift will allow someone affected by bipolar to get peer support via a 24/7 eCommunity, a 1-1 support service, support groups and a webinar exploring ways to manage common seasonal triggers of bipolar.

1 in 50 people live with bipolar, plus the condition has a significant impact on family and friends. Symptoms include high and low moods, suicidal thoughts, impulsivity and psychosis. Christmas can trigger anxiety, depression, loneliness and money worries, compounded by impulsive spending. Post-diagnosis, 67% of our community didn’t get any advice about how to manage the condition. The risk of suicide is 20 times greater for someone with bipolar. Timely support can be lifesaving.

This Christmas we’re providing wrap-around support for people with bipolar, and their family and friends. Funds raised will support all our work, including our 24/7 eCommunity that’s open 365 days a year, our email service and our groups. In the run-up to Christmas, we will also host an extra webinar and an online peer support group. Led by staff and volunteers with lived experience, our peer support services offer people in need the chance to connect with others who understand - a lifeline.
