Every woman should be safe from violence and able to get help when she needs it. This isn’t a reality for the women we know – but it could be. One25 brings healthcare, practical help and hope to women street sex-working in Bristol. Join us and give safety and support this Christmas and beyond.

Already living with the impact of trauma and abuse, the women we support experience challenges including homelessness and mental ill health. They face barriers to accessing support services due to stigma about drug use and street sex work, and the fact they require help with multiple needs. Reports of violence have more than doubled since before the pandemic and last year life got even harder: 74% of women experienced increased poverty and more women needed to use our food provision.

We meet women where they are: on the street and in community spaces; on weekdays and weekends; during the day and at night. Our services are flexible and women often use more than one: - The night outreach van provides support with urgent practical needs such as food, first aid and clothing - The Health Hub connects women to trauma-informed healthcare - Specialist caseworkers support women as they tackle the disadvantages they face, and advocate for women’s needs to other agencies
