A holiday away from the stress and strain of hospital appointments, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc. is vital to mental wellbeing.

Situation
Ruddi's Retreat works alongside families who have an immediate family member (parent or child) that is coping with the effects and after effects of cancer, life limiting illnesses and unfortunately in some cases bereavement. The families we help have faced significant trauma and a respite break is usually the last thing on a long list of essentials but it is one of the things that is most needed to help improve mental wellbeing and in some cases physical health - Ruddi's helps to improove both.
Solution
Ruddi's provides either a 3, 4 or 7 night break in one of our 5 retreats. One of the retreats is fully accessible with wet room, trapeze hoist, ramped access and accessible kitchen. All of the retreats are completely decked out with everything you would need for a restful stay meaning all the families have to think about is their own essentials. We provide passes that allow access to all facilities on sites including climbing, high ropes, funfair, boating lake, swimming pools and lots more.
