MCCF is raising funds to invest in its cricket projects in the UK, Lebanon (Syrian refugees), Nepal and East Africa, which harness the transformational power of cricket to empower young people to reach their full potential, unite and inspire communities and promote positive mental and physical well being.

1.The lack of equity of access to sport, cricket in particular: Around the world there is a recognition that the sport needs to become more inclusive, whether that is in relation to race, gender, religion, or socio-economic background. 2. Poor mental and physical well being in young people. 3. Social issues endemic to each area of work eg-refugees struggling to integrate, children facing gang violence, girls facing domestic abuse. 4. Lack of life opportunities for young people in deprived areas
Solution
We help individuals to access opportunities to fulfill their potential in life using cricket as a platform for positive change. Programmes are free to access- cricket is a game for all and its unique benefits should be accessible to all. Cricket+ is our definition for the additional elements beyond cricket skills delivered through our cricket platform to enhance life opportunities. This can be anything from mental health support across all programmes, to gender-based violence education in Nepal.
