We run choirs involving homeless and marginalised people: delivering joyful weekly rehearsals with a hot meal afterwards, regular life affirming gigs and outreach singing projects to share the power of singing together to make you feel better, stronger and happier.

Situation
Crisis estimate that the number of people experiencing the worst forms of homelessness – rough sleeping, sleeping in vehicles and B&Bs – was projected to rise above 300k households on any given night in 2023 as the cost of living crisis worsens. We offer people going through a tough time a safe, welcoming, inclusive community where they can restore the confidence and personal resilience needed to tackle the challenges they face outside choir.
Solution
Our safe, fun and inclusive choirs not only offer people a place to sing their hearts out, but also empower members to build confidence, forge long-lasting friendships and learn new skills for work and life. We work alongside our members to deliver our choir communities so our people can take an active role in running their choir, and even more opportunity for growth, both musically and personally. Together this can be the catalyst for someone to make long-term, positive change in their lives.
