SOS-UK is a youth-led charity created in response to the climate and nature crises. We are the support crew behind hundreds of young people leading climate action across the UK. Help us to go further and faster in 2024, so we can support more young people to develop and deliver their own campaigns.

Situation
Young people are disproportionally impacted by the cost of living crisis, the mental health crisis and the climate crisis. This has led to many young people feeling disillusioned and disempowered. Covid has dampened the youth climate strikes, but we know young people want to step up and take action. The problem is many of these young people are not connected with each other and lack the support they need to make their campaigns successful
Solution
We meet young people where they are at and, as a dynamic youth-led charity, many young people ask us for help. We work alongside them as equal partners, doing whatever we can to help ensure their projects and campaigns are a success. We are connected across many youth networks and regularly bring young people together around climate action through events such as our annual Student Sustainability Summit and the Youth Gathering, which we run with Friends of the Earth.
