We are building a more welcoming UK for people forced to flee their homes. Help us get there. We support a vibrant network, from community groups to councils, schools to libraries, all working to provide support, dignity & welcome. With your help, we can make these networks of welcome even stronger

People seeking sanctuary are one of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in society, they face extreme challenges especially due to the asylum system, hostile public policy, inaccurate media reporting and tensions in communities caused by lack of understanding and fearmongering - all of which leads to an unwelcoming environment and is a barrier to integration. We are seeking to address all of the issues in pursuit of the vision to make the UK a welcoming place of safety for all.

In order to realise our vision we need to build a movement encouraging and inspiring more and more new people to become involved in promoting welcome. At a local level we believe change happens through connecting people from the receiving community with people seeking sanctuary and that social connections can turn people’s 'empathy into action', through our networks we aim to mobilise people behind UK level campaigns and leverage local authority political power locally for change.
