Brain injuries do not discriminate – they can happen in seconds to people of all ages in a variety of situations but the effects can last a lifetime. There are many possible causes: accidents, tumour, stroke, cardiac arrest, post viral infections such as meningitis. The impact can include: loss of independence, loss of employment or life role, increased stress and breakdowns in family relationships, low self-esteem and lack of confidence, anxiety, depression, poor memory and fatigue.

We provide coping strategies, practical solutions or establish routines to help people feel more in control. All clients have a personal enablement plan and work towards a range of short term and long term goals, combining soft outcomes and practical skills. We offer a range of activities to aide in the recovery process including; art therapy, music sessions, exercise sessions, gardening project all of which will help build confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and respite for families/carers.
