We are raising funds for our One-to-one Mentoring Service, supporting Dads to improve their co-parenting relationships after parental separation, reducing parental conflict and improving their mental wellbeing. We focus on making sure the voice of the child is at the heart of family breakdown.

Dads are much less likely to receive targeted support, or to be actively recruited or addressed by family focused support and interventions. We understand that loss of contact with children and/or relationship breakdown can have a huge impact on the mental wellbeing of a Dad. The misery, depression, and frustration expressed by clients, or potential clients of DU, represents a very vulnerable group of men who don’t know where to turn.

We support Dads through our Mentoring service, which helps to reduce parental conflict with former partners and move towards improving co-parenting relationships. We provide wrap-around trauma informed support ensuring our focus is that the voice of the child remains at the heart of the family breakdown process. We further offer a Co-Parenting Success Workshop, that teaches the 5 steps to co-parenting. We will offer mental health support in the form of counselling to our clients, if required,
