The isolation, exclusion and vulnerability experienced through homelessness is traumatic. People affected by homelessness need more than a roof over their heads to recover. They need to be seen and heard, to feel valued, and to belong, so they can rebuild their lives, identities, and sense of self-worth.

Singing and creativity are powerful tools for improving confidence and wellbeing. Our workshops offer a safe space for people affected by homelessness to leave troubles at the door and embrace the experience of finding their voices as artists. Through collaboration with professionals, Streetwise Opera performers will devise and co-create short operas and performances in incredible cultural spaces. Re:Discover will also invite people in homelessness settings to explore their creativity.
