Sarcoma is an uncommon cancer that occurs in bone and soft tissue, There are over 100 different sub-types of sarcoma and it can be very difficult to diagnose. As members of the Sarcoma community tell us – from the moment they receive a diagnosis, questions flow through the mind, ‘What is Sarcoma?’ ‘Is it curable?’, ‘What happens now?’ Sarcoma is frequently known as the ‘loneliest’ cancer; a less well-known form of cancer that few – friends, family or colleagues – have heard of or understand.
