There are over 100 bird of prey centres in the UK in which thousands of birds are suffering. Birds go through extreme training methods to make them ‘perform’ for the paying public. Yet the public knows very little about this. This is what we aim to change. Our previous investigation focused on one-off visits to zoos, now we need to focus on these cruel methods to expose the truth. We are the only organisation working on this issue that is full of cruelty and hidden behind tradition and secrecy.

There is a real need to raise awareness of the issues of keeping birds of prey in captivity. The key way to do this is to collect compelling evidence through investigations, to demonstrate what is happening. Our findings will be used to raise awareness and to lobby for impactful change to the lives of animals in captivity. Spreading awareness is key to ending this cruel industry - once public opinion changes, real change can begin.
