In Zimbabwe, children with correctable disabilities are often untreated, leaving them in pain and vulnerable to neglect. 300,000 Zimbabwean children are suffering from a variety of severe but treatable disabilities, conditions that can prevent them from walking properly and attending school, and which cause pain, poverty, and isolation. But Zimbabwe lacks the highly specialised care that children with disabilities need, to improve their mobility and functionality, and therefore quality of life.

CURE Zimbabwe is the first and only hospital in the country dedicated to treating the specialised surgical needs of children with treatable disabilities like clubfoot, bowed legs, burn contractures, cleft lips and palates and neglected trauma. Our expert treatment also includes preoperative care, rehabilitation, psychosocial care, physiotherapy, & mobility device fitting. Through treatment, children, their families, and their communities will be empowered to thrive and reach their full potential
