At The Passage we are here to support and protect those at risk of homelessness. Not just for Christmas but for life. But we need your help.

Situation
The current housing crisis continues to put many people at risk of losing their home. At The Passage, many of our clients have already lost their home and we have seen a 13% increase in the number of people needing our support in the last year; including a 26% increase in people aged 18 – 30. For those we have helped into accommodation, we have seen a rise in the number of requests for money and welfare advice as it becomes harder to manage the rising household costs, driven by inflation.
Solution
At The Passage we act with compassion and urgency, intervening before people reach crisis point. We aim to help people into accommodation, so they do not ever have to spend a night on the streets. This preventative action protects people from the risks that rough sleeping poses to a person’s mental and physical health. For those that do experience street homelessness, we aim to move them into accommodation quickly and provide a holistic service that provides sustainable outcomes and routes home.
