Pantries soften the blow of high living costs, and create the conditions for communities to grow and thrive, by bringing people together around food. Help us to build Pantries into even stronger neighbourhood hubs by developing mobile Pantries and systems for 'wraparound' support.

Everyone should have access to good food, but the cost of living emergency is driving ever more people into poverty. People are having to go without food, heating or both – or face falling into dangerous debt as the costs of essentials spiral out of control. Everybody values community, but people on low incomes in the UK are often isolated, excluded from taking part or having a say. It can be hard to access services and support which could help people deal with challenges in a dignified way.

Your Local Pantries provide both food and community – and more. Across the UK, over 90,000 people have found friendship, food and freedom through Pantry membership. Pantries are all about dignity, choice and hope. We're now working to help the 100 Pantries in the network become even more effective member-led neighbourhood hubs: by creating mobile Pantries that can reach more isolated communities; and by offering 'wraparound' services that connect Pantry members with other community initiatives.
