Situation
Motiv8 are engaging with more young people than ever before struggling with their mental health. Covid, then the cost-of-living crisis have increased feelings of anxiety, depression and hopelessness. Young people tell us they need a safe space, a trusted adult and the confidence to talk through the issues in their lives. Young people have missed out on so many life experience and opportunities and many are finding it difficult to access individual support and to connect within their communities.
Solution
Through mentoring, small group work, in schools and homes, we are listening to young people and empowering them to develop the tools they need to positively access new opportunities in education or to take steps to employment. With your help they will find opportunities in which they can achieve, hope and thrive.
