Settle is an award-winning charity that prevents youth homelessness by supporting care-experienced young people moving into their first home. With your support this winter, we can support young people to make their house a home by supporting them to manage their money and wellbeing.

11,000 young people leave care every year in the UK and one third become homeless within two years. Their move into their first home is often abrupt and unsupported. Many struggle to cope, falling into debt, eviction and homelessness. The cost of living crisis has made their circumstances even more precarious. However, this problem is not inevitable. By supporting them to make their house a home and manage their money, these young people can move forward with their lives.

Since 2015, we’ve shown that with the right support provided at the right time, young people leaving care can build stable foundations and go on to achieve brilliant things. Our Programme supports young people at risk of eviction in their own home, focusing on support on three key areas for our young people: money, tenancy, and lifestyle. Working 1:1 with our team of accredited coaches, we’ve supported over 500 young people to live happy, healthy lives and avoid homelessness.
